How I Built a 25-Second Automation Recipe Generator Without Writing Code

The problem

I was selling automation platforms to enterprise customers, and the biggest friction point was the translation layer between business requirements and platform capabilities.

What I built

The Automation Design Genie is a multi-skill agentic system that takes a BRD as input and produces a fully structured automation recipe in roughly 25 seconds, with a validation layer checking against the platform's actual capabilities.

What I learned

The validation layer matters more than the generation layer. Anyone can get an AI to produce something that looks right. The hard part is ensuring it actually works in production.
