A thirty-minute discovery conversation. We'll dig into your operational model, where AI actually helps, and whether an engagement makes sense. If it does, we scope it. If it doesn't, we tell you. The call is free and genuinely exploratory — we don't run it as a disguised pitch.
Not on the website. Engagements are scoped and priced after a discovery conversation. Pricing bands exist — a Diagnostic sits in a different range to a Build — but every engagement is scoped to its actual operational context. We'll share indicative bands once we understand what you're trying to solve.
Diagnostic: three to four weeks. Pilot: eight to twelve weeks. Build: twelve to twenty weeks. We don't run twelve-month transformations — the world moves too fast and the operational context changes too much over that horizon.
Yes, if your opportunity is already validated internally. Most clients start with a Diagnostic because it de-risks the investment and produces a specific roadmap — but it's not required. We'll tell you in the discovery conversation which starting point makes sense for your situation.
Ninety days of operational support is included with every Build. After that, clients either take full operational ownership internally or retain us on a monthly support arrangement — tuning, telemetry review, agent prompt iteration, light feature additions.
We don't implement, reconfigure, or advise on your core systems of record — ERP, CRM, accounting, work management, compliance. That's your implementation partner's job. What we build sits on top: AI-augmented workflows that do real cognitive work, and agents that own specific operations end-to-end. If you change platforms later, we adapt the integration layer — the AI stays.
Any Layer 1 with an API. Typical stacks: Odoo, Salesforce, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, ServiceM8, Jobber, Tradify, Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, HubSpot, Yardi, MRI, Corrigo, Cliniko, Humanforce. We orchestrate with n8n and use Claude for AI reasoning.
No. Platform selection isn't our business. If your Layer 1 is genuinely broken beyond AI's ability to compensate, we'll say so — but we won't recommend a replacement or lead that conversation. Your implementation partners handle Layer 1. We handle Layer 2 and 3.
Approval gates at strategic checkpoints — not per-item review. Humans supervise what matters: variation sign-off, high-value approvals, ambiguous cases, edge cases flagged by the agent. AI accelerates what doesn't require judgment: data extraction, classification, drafting, routing, reconciliation.
Mid-market Australian service businesses — typically $2M to $50M revenue, ops-heavy, with fragmented back-office processes consuming disproportionate management time. PE-backed service business platforms in early hold period looking for operational leverage. Owner-operators running search funds or ETA buyouts with an explicit AI value-creation thesis.
Maybe. Below $2M, most businesses don't have enough operational surface for the ROI to pencil. Above $50M, you usually have internal capability or a tier-one consulting relationship. But there are always exceptions — especially PE-backed companies at any revenue. Worth a discovery call.
Facilities management, building services and trades, healthcare (private practice and allied health groups), professional services, strata management, logistics and last-mile delivery, field services of all kinds. Common thread: ops-heavy back office, field or distributed operations, fragmented systems.
If you're sure AI can't help, probably not. If you're uncertain, the discovery call costs nothing and clarifies quickly. We've told operators "we don't think there's an engagement here" plenty of times — that's the Honesty principle in action.
Claude, by Anthropic, for all cognitive work — reasoning, classification, extraction, drafting, decision support. It's the best general-purpose reasoning model for production operational work, and it's stable enough to build durable workflows on.
Every engagement includes data handling arrangements appropriate to your sector. For financial services, healthcare, and regulated industries we use private deployment patterns and data residency controls. We'll walk through the specifics in the engagement scoping.
Operationally no — data flows through the workflows and returns to your systems. For agent context and fine-tuning we retain minimal operational telemetry (volume metrics, error rates, escalation patterns) needed to maintain the system. All data retention terms are spelled out in the engagement contract.
Good. That's the best outcome. Every engagement is built so your team can operate it without us. We document the prompts, the orchestration, the integration patterns, and the supervisory patterns. If you want to bring everything in-house after a Build, we support the handover. No lock-in.
Usually a better reason to engage than to wait. The Diagnostic identifies where data quality is actually blocking a workflow, where it's tolerable, and where investment in data hygiene would have the highest leverage. You don't need perfect data to ship — you need to know which workflows can tolerate the data you have.
Happy to hear it. We don't prospect against existing engagements. If the other work is going well, that's genuinely better for you. If it's not, we can do a second-opinion conversation — but we won't slag off competitors or bid against them unprompted.
Fair. Operational AI at our end of the market doesn't have to feel like transformation. A single Pilot on one workflow is weeks, not months, and sits alongside the existing process rather than replacing anything. We can start where the appetite is lowest-friction.
Every engagement is scoped to a specific outcome with measurable criteria. If the Pilot doesn't hit its documented success metrics, we'll say so in the written outcomes review. Our reputation depends on operators who finish engagements with working software, not on locking in recurring revenue regardless of outcome.
The 12 workflows PDF covers everything we'd walk through in a first conversation. Or book 30 minutes and ask the questions that actually matter for your situation.
